Nigeria @62: Barrister (Chief) David Aigbefoh Urges Govt to do More on Security, Education

Chief Barrister Ebosetale David Aigbefoh Esq. has appealed to the Federal and State Governments to do more in the areas of security and education for the overall development of the country.

Aigbefoh said no nation would achieve meaningful progress and development without efficient security and sound education.

He made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) to comomerate Nigeria @62.

However, he, said that since independence of Nigeria there has been remarkable progress, improvements and achievements despite the present challenges facing the nation.

“Since the independence, unemployment and insecurity, among other challenges, as well as other developmental issues are being addressed.

“Honestly to a very large extend Independence has brought development and progress to the country.

“Even though government is trying in the areas of security and education, but I want to call on government to do more, give more attention to security and education because when there is no peace, there will be no development.

“I urge the youths not to allow themselves to be used by any politician. I want to call on the youths to urge politicians who want to use them for thuggery to use their children and the politicians should be at the front line,” he added.

Chief Aigbefoh started his legal accolades as former NBA Vice Chairman Gwagwalada branch and Chairman human rights committee.

Currently, the Edo State born Ebosetale holds sway as director of Programmes Association of legislative drafting and advocacy practitioners at the National Assembly.
