Nigeria‘ll Survive Boko Haram – Adeduntan

Former Labor Party governorship ship hopeful in Oyo State, Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has called on Nigerians to cling to hope in the face of the ongoing bombings unleashed unleashed on the country by the Boko Haram Islamic terrorists.  Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, who spoke in Atlanta, Georgia, during activities marking Nigeria’s 51st Independence Anniversary, said that “Nigeria will survive Boko Haram attacks.”

 

Dr. Adeduntan, who for many years practiced Cardiovascular Medicine in Atlanta, said that the prognosis on the country, having survived several calamities in the past, shows the country would

 

“We survived Civil War, June 12 political crisis, Yar adua’s illness with attendant power vacuum and a looming Coup D’état, the Niger Delta Crisis. We will survive Boko Haram and introduction of international terrorism to Nigeria ”.

 

He added that Nigeria had always enjoyed special divine intervention each time there was crisis that seemed insurmountable and that the country will overcome its present security challenges.

 

“Surely there is divine intervention in the affairs of this dream Nation, called Nigeria . In light of the above, I am an incurable optimist, that Nigeria would rise tall very soon in the comity of nations, with our sing song, he stated.

 

The Initiator and Founder of Adeduntan Foundation urged all Nigerians not to lose hope in the Nigerian dream saying that with our collective efforts Nigeria would become one of the world best.

 

“My contention is that Nigeria is still a dream nation, but with huge potentials .With the support of all citizens and the Government, coupled with the suggestions itemized above, we can move Nigeria forward to be a Nation that all of us can be proud of despite the many challenges facing us.

Please recall, other nations that broke up never faced half of the adversities; Nigeria had faced since our flag independence from Britain in 1960”.

 

The Nigeria ’s Independence Day lecture organized by Alliance of Nigeria Organization in Georgia , (ANOG), Atlanta , United States of America had in attendance distinguished Nigerians who have excelled in their various choosing careers.
