The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) said on Wednesday that, it will launch an investigation into an alleged invasion of Osun State University
by some individuals purported to be its personnel.
In a statement made available to sharpedgenews.com in Abuja the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, said that the saga was regrettable saying that, the alleged fracas was not a reflection of what it stood for as arm of the Nigerian Military.
According to him, “The NAF is a highly professional force that does not condone or encourage the violation of anyone’s human rights”.
The general public is invited to kindly note that the NAF has already commenced formal investigations into the reported unfortunate incidence.
At the end of the investigations, Nigerians are assured that any NAF personnel found culpable will be dealt with in accordance with the appropriate laws.
Recall, reports had it that, some gun wielding Troops of the Airforce, Allegedly Invaded the Campus of the Osun State Varsity on Tuesday in search of students suspected to be involved in internet fraud and other vices.
