The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA)Benue State has commended the Commissioner of Police for its recent rescue operations.
The Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Benue State, Dr. Ushakuma Anenga led a delegation of state officers to visit the Benue State Commissioner of Police, CP Okoro Alawari Julius, at the Police Headquarters.
According to Dr Mark Ogbodo
PRO, NMA Benue State,sais during the visit, Dr. Anenga expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Commissioner for the commendable efforts displayed by the police force in the recent successful rescue operation of a kidnapped doctor in the state.
He also acknowledged the crucial role played by the police in ensuring the safety of lives and property and praised the commissioner and his team for their unwavering dedication and commitment to their duties.
Responding, CP Okoro Alawari Julius said he was impressed by the significant impact doctors played in the society by preserving and improving the well-being of the people.
He further assured the NMA delegation of the police readiness to forge a strong and mutually beneficial partnership with the association.
The visit served as an opportunity to strengthen the existing bond between the Nigerian Medical Association and the police force in Benue State.
