A multitasking Nurse, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Holistic Wellness Lounge and Holistic Wellness TV on YoutTube, highly motivated, innovative, resourceful, emotionally intelligent leader and a philanthropist, Nanman Philemon Kash popularly known as NPK has emerged winner of the the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) showcase 2022 as MRS SDGs 3 (Good health and wellbeing) held in Abuja.
The contest which was a non-bikini contest for the most beautiful, innovative, and passionate married women in the country that seeks to reward outstanding married women, strengthen the marriage institution, had contestants write on any of the 17 SDG goals they wish to advocate for it’s achievement.
The show, which had tasks for participant had the winner write on ” Combating maternal and child mortality”, categories of the pageant include,Children, Teens and Miss and Mrs respectively.
The organiser, Winner of the 10th edition of Mrs Africa United Nations pageant, Queen Evelyn Chigozie Chukwujeku, explained that the joint initiative and value-driven humanitarian Project, SDGs Family and Business Showcase, is a joint initiative and value-driven humanitarian project of herself and UNAU Diamonds Pageant that combines a unique blend of SDGs, Pageantry, Entertainment and Humanitarian as an effective tool for promoting and domesticating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She pointed out that it included Mobilizing Supports, Enhancing Social Entrepreneurial Skills, Connecting participants with business linkage opportunities and access to grants to make lasting impact in their community and beyond to achieve our target for 1,000 Youths, Women and Girls as beneficiaries for Cash and Kind over an 8-year period of 2022 to 2030 from the proceeds of the SDGs Showcase.
The nurse, while expressing her excitement said she is grateful to God Almighty and all who supported her to get her crown.She promised unflinching commitment in ensuring healthy living and promotion of well being of all at all ages, she said she is dedicating herself to contribute in reversing the high rate of maternal and child mortality in Nigeria:
“I Nanman Philemon Kash as the crowned Mrs SDG Showcase 2022 will dedicate
myself to this project by providing evidence based, innovative and sustainable
interventions. My proposed interventions will ensure that women in their childbearing age are
equipped and prepared for healthy pregnancy. We will work to encourage healthy
lifestyle among women and pregnant mothers to ensure that childbirth and
childbearing will not be a sentence to unfortunate incidents but that children born
can grow to live, thrive, and realize their full potentials through motherhood and child
health care programs across the country.To that end, I pledge to contribute to reversing the high rate of maternal and child mortality in Nigeria as Mrs SDG 3″ she said.
The nurse further appreciated other contestants who made the journey with her describing them as amazing ambassador of Nigeria.
