OIC Chairman Sarafadeen Ali in Critical Condition

The Chairman of Oodua Investment Company (OIC), Mr. Sarafadeen Ali, who is under hospital care after sustaining injuries from contract killers last Saturday has been moved into intensive care after his condition was listed as critical.

More than 16 pellets have been removed from his body. Sharpedgenews.com was told by University College Hospital sources in Ibadan on Thursday that the former Secretary to the Government of Oyo  State has now been moved to an undisclosed hospital in order to shield him from his unknown assailants.

Mr. Ali was earlier kidnapped and dispossessed of a car and communication gadgets last April in Ibadan, just before the staggered polls in Nigeria.

He is believed to have played tactical and strategic roles in delivering victory to the Action Congress of Nigeria’s (ACN’s) candidate in Oyo State, now Governor Ajumobi. According to sources, Ali’s support ensure that Ibadan North was delivered. He was a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and later followed Senator Rasheed Ladoja before finally settling for the ACN.

Sharpedgenews.com was told that Mr. Sarafadeen Ali may have been attacked for political or business motives.
