Major stakeholders in the Olugbesan Family of Oke-Agbeni, Ibadan, have asserted that legitimate family members apologized to Prince Gbolagade Adeyemi, CEO of MICH Royal Company Nigeria Limited, for wrongfully accusing him of selling their family land at Olugbesan Village.
While responding to a claim by Mr. Hazeem Gbolarunmi that no apology was issued, the stakeholders clarified that an investigation by the family confirmed that Adeyemi remitted funds from the sales of the land to Mr Hazeem Gbolarunmi.
“No amount of lies or deceit from Mr. Gbolarunmi can cover the truth. We are in possession of valid payment documents regarding transactions carried out over the sales of the land.”
It would be recalled that the family had previously issued a letter of apology to Prince Adeyemi, acknowledging their mistake, clarifying that he did not sell the land illegally but had sent money to their Mogaji, Gbolarunmi, who according to them converted the funds into personal use.
“We are equally using this medium to appeal to members of the public to desist from transacting any business with Mr Gbolarunmi regarding our Family’s land at Olugbesan village and also other properties of the family. Anyone who deals with him over the said land and other Olugbesan properties does so at his or her own risk.”
