*Says anti-graft body bent on nailing him

Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, of devising various plots to nail him at all costs.
Omisore in a statement on Thursday denied fresh accusation that he stashed whooping N1.3bn, being money collected from the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, in his bank account, saying it is sheer blackmail.
The politician, a former deputy governor of Osun State, also observed that the anti-graft body had been using falsehood to harass him, stressing that this was evident in the way the latter had said he at one time took N700m and later changed the figure to N1.3bn.
Furthermore, he said the EFCC had been dodging court summons in the suit he filed against it, an indication that the body was not bold enough to stand up to its claims.
The statement read: “EFCC won’t stop at any height to blackmail opposition. My AIT (African Independent Television) programme has attracted another falsehood to harass me! Only yesterday morning, I accused EFCC of dodging court summons! I didn’t collect any money from ONSA. I have not had any dealings with the ONSA. Last time, it was N700 million, today, it’s N1.3bn.
“Nigerians should be expecting higher multipliers in future! There is no such money in my account. Let the EFCC bring all findings to the court, instead of media hype.”
