The Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of the Governor of Lagos State, H.E. Babajide Sanwoolu to chair the Party’s high-level National Campaign Council for the Ondo State Governorship Election.
The Governor of Plateau State, H.E. Simon Lalong will serve as Deputy Chairman and Comrade Mustapha Salihu as Secretary of the 104-member APC National Campaign Council.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. (Hon.) Femi Gbajabiamila, Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Serving Governors Gbenga Isiaka Oyetola, Dapo Abiodun, Kayode Fayemi, Abubakar Badaru,Mallam Nasir El-rufai, Babagana Zulum; Senators George Akume, Aliyu Wammako, Ibikunle Amosun, Rochas Okorocha, Ajayi Borrofice, Osita Izunaso, Ifeanyi Ararume,Sani Abubakar Danladi, Andy Uba, Jubril Wowo, Abubakar Gieri, Jonathan Zwingina.
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon Yakubu Dogara who returned to the party a few weeks ago after a brief sojourn with the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP), former Governors Abdulazeez Yari, Bindow Jubrilla, Muhammed Abubakar are also on the list.
Hon Victor Giadom who was a major face in the recent crisis that rocked the party leading to the ouster of the entire Adams Oshiomhole National Working Committee and constitution of the current Mai Mala Buni Caretaker Committee is also on the list.
