Ondo Election: Security Operatives Arrest Hoodlums at Igbokoda for Ballot Box Snatching

As vote counting commenced across Ondo state, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Eyitayo Jegede won in his St. Brendan’s Primary School polling unit,

Akure with 184 votes  while Akeredolu of APC had 77votes and Olusola Oke of AD had 32 votes.

In Arakale/Adam’s House, Akure South LGA, Unit 1, Ward 7, the PDP had 50 votes, APC, 38 and AD, 24,

In Arakale Ward 7, Unit 4, PDP had 35 votes, APC, 30; and AD, 18.

In St Paul, Oba Ile, Unit 3, PDP had 49 votes, APC had 81 votes while AD had 44 votes

In 1st gate, Oba Ile Unit 1, PDP had 99 votes, APC had 149 votes and AD had 65 votes

There was an alleged incidence of ballot box snatching at Igbokoda Ilaje and some hoodlums were reportedly arrested by security operatives.

A monitoring helicopter was sighted in Oba Ile.
