The Chief Executive Officer of Mich Royal Company Nigeria Limited, Prince Gbolagade Adeyemi has replied the ex-deputy governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarunmi that only the legimate members of Olugbesan family represented by three individuals apologized to him and that those who rejected the letter of apology were strangers who the family accommodated in their compound.
Prince Adeyemi while reacting to a media report credited to Mr Hazeem Gbolarunmi said that he would not have reacted to such cheap blackmail but was forced to react for the purpose of revealing the truth concerning the letter of apology to him by the family.
“Ordinarily, I would not have reacted to such cheap blackmail by Mr Gbolarunmi but for the purpose of revealing the truth, I have to come out to defend my name. The legitimate family members of Olugbesan after they initially accused me wrongly and I provided evidences to them later deemed it to apologize to me. Today, I can say boldly that only the legitimate members of Olugbesan’s family represented by three individuals apologized to me and not strangers the family accomodated in their compound and some of whom who were even from Abeokuta and other places.”
On other allegations levelled against him by Mr Gbolarunmi, Prince Adeyemi said that the legitimate members of Olugbesan family both home and abroad are already in possession of valid documents and relevant information about their Family’s collective heritage being squandered by strangers they accommodated in their compound.
“On other baseless allegations against me, matters are already in court and also, further actions are being taken regarding threats to my life and other staff of our company.”
