Dear *CP HYELASINDA MUSA KIMO*,
I have been contemplating writing an open letter to the out gone Commissioner of Police in the past twelve hours only
to read on this platform that there has been a sudden change.
I believe the decision was apt since this was our brother’s home land and the possibility of being indecisive on sensitive issues could be indicting. Nonetheless, we miss him for only a brother could effectively handle yesterday’s siege against the wish of the Law with no life lost.
On reading about you, a quick search has been made online to trace your occupational history, I dare say you are impeccable and a man with a good heart.
Nonetheless Sir, I have my fears which invariably reflects the fears of majority of Akwa Ibomites. Pundits claim your transfer to Akwa Ibom State is to execute the political desire of the All Progressive congress (APC) in the state by locking the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly with the flimsy excuse of imaginary anarchy which does not reflect the peaceful ambience enjoyed in this great state.
It has taken a lot of courage writing you, taking into cognizance the intimidating aspect of “FORCE” in The Nigerian Police Force but as a tax payer whose contribution makes for overhead cost I am compelled to demand fairness to all from you as we welcome you to our dear state, the only state named after God.
Prove Pundits wrong and remain apolitical and in your honor throughout your stay.
Best of regards
