Oprah Winfrey America’s golden girl and TV Talk Show diva, has said she is keeping her ears attentive to hear
from God before throwing her hat into the United State’s presidential election to contest against Donald Trump in 2020.
While there has not been official confirmation that Trump has declared to run, Oprah who is also not in hurry to declare her presidential ambition revealed that she has billionaires and financiers offering to foot her campaign bid.
Despite, the pressure from several quarters, she added that God must show and convince her of the direction to go.
Winfrey who made the disclosure in an interview with People Magazine on Wednesday, said on calls for her to square it with President Donald Trump added: “I went into prayer. God, if you think I’m supposed to run, you gotta tell me and it has to be so clear that not even I can miss it. And I haven’t gotten that yet.”
Winfrey, according to the Magazine reports, said she emerged as a possible 2020 presidential candidate after she delivered an emotional speech at the Golden Globes, earlier this while advocating against sexual harassment.
