Oyo APC Assures Governor Badaru-led Reconciliation Committee on Unity

The leaders and stakeholders of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have pledged to work together

to ensure the party emerges strong and formidable in the state.

This pledge was made at a massively attended meeting held on Thursday at the Plateau State Government Lodge, Abuja between the recently inaugurated national reconciliation committee under the chairmanship of the Jigawa State Governor Abubakar Badaru and the stakeholders.

The Oyo State stakeholders who attended are: Ex-governor of the State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala; ex-Deputy Governor Otunba Alake Adeyemo; former Minister of Communication, Barr. Adebayo Shittu; Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare; Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle; Senator Ayo Adeseun; Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi; Senator Olufemi Lanleyin; Senator Teslim Folarin; Senator Fatai Buhari; Chief Akin Oke; Alhaji Olaiya; Hon Bimbo Kolade; Hon. Shina Peller; Hon. Bimbo Kolade; Dr. Yinus Akintunde; Chief Bayo Adelabu; Mr. Joseph Tegbe; Mr. Zacchaeus Adedeji and Hon. Segun Odebunmi.

The Reconciliation Committee of five persons chaired by Governor Badaru which has Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong; Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi; Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammed Inuwa Yahaya as members, is mandated to reconcile aggrieved members of the party in three (3)states viz: Imo, Ogun and Oyo.
