Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde and his wife have cast their votes at Unit 01, Ward 11 Abayomi area Iwo Road, Ibadan North East, Oyo State.
Shortly, after casting his vote, the governor expressed hope that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, will be free and fair in the ongoing governorship and house of assembly elections.
Makinde is seeking second term as Oyo State governor.
Similarly, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin has cast his vote.
The APC governorship candidate cast his vote at Ward 5, unit 2, Idi Ose, Akanran in Ona Ara local government area of Oyo state.
