Assembly Tuesday and Wednesday fell on deaf ears as the unionists went ahead. The lobby of NASS was filled to the brim with members carrying placards of different inscriptions. This developement disrupted plenary in both chambers of the NASS. The lawmakers then went into closed door meeting.
Some of the staff who spoke on ground of anonymity said the 28% of their consolidated legislative salary structure CONLESS must be paid before work resumes.
Other complaints have to do with none release of some their promotion/conversion letters, lack of training and new condition of service.
