The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police command, has said, there will be restriction of movement tomorrow Saturday 23rd,
in Bwari, Kuje and Kwali, Area Councils, where the supplementary election is scheduled to hold.
In a statement, ASP Danjuma Gajere Tanimu, while quoting the FCT CP, said the restriction of vehicular movement in all the wards will be between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
However, ambulances, Fire Service trucks and others on essential duties will be exempted from this enforcement due to the sensitive nature of their services to the public.
“While regretting the inconveniences this restriction might course the affected FCT resident, the Command want to assure residents that proactive security measures have been put in place for peaceful conduct of the supplementary election.
