CAPTURED by their insatiable appetite and gaudy lust for relevance, money, the stage, and dominance over others, they now serve POISON on the pulpit recklessly, the pulpit built by the blood of the Lamb and His life. Consumed in the bemusement of display of lies and rhetoric of deceit all in the name of testimonies of what “God” is doing by the charlatans, the Church of the Lord is drinking the poison unabated. Now we have the pulpit in most of our Churches dishing out poison of serpents and asps, and then we have a willing pew drinking it with all shame of sincerity even when they have been poisoned severally. Why are my people so BLIND and DEAF? Why are God’s people so crazy for prosperity at the expense of their sanity, just to be plundered again and again unending?
The question to me has been what has the pew has to show for all the seed of prosperity and breakthrough sown years ago? Where is the fruit of fulfillment of what “God” said through their prophets years and years ago? Or could it be that their “God” is a LIAR who sends greedy deceivers to them in the name of great prophets? Why are my people sincerely daft and stupid without redemption? When would they understand God Almighty as a true God who will not lie nor repent if He truly promise? I understand why the actors in pulpit do their thing. I understand why the lying preachers lie and deceive, what I don’t understand and will never decipher is why God’s people are simply plundered by the same game plan that is about as old as life – DECEIT!!! 000000.
“Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel” Pro.20: 17 (NKJV).
Many times we expect the fulfillment of this scriptures immediately who lie against God, and it shall be fulfilled, but what about when God’s people love to have it that way. When those who are outrightly deceived feel blessed in deceit what again would God do than leave them in their stupidity but will always withhold the blessings so errors are not seen as righteousness. I will speak about a recent occurrence on Sunday 1st of July 2012 at a New York based Ministry, but let me quote another scripture here for all my readers.
“For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men. As a cage is full of birds, So their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have become great and grown rich. They have grown fat, they are sleek; Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked; They do not plead the cause, The cause of the fatherless; Yet they prosper, And the right of the needy they do not defend. Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord. ‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’ “An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?” Jer. 5: 26-31.
The priests are now RULING by their own power and not of the Lord anymore. They lie on the Holy Spirit and ever thought they will escape the punishment. The present life and its lucre have consumed them infernally, and they appropriate grace upon themselves beyond measure for redemption and above the people on the pew. What they preach against is what they do, everything! They tell the congregants to wait for God but they wait not on God rather on the table of lies to pilfer the pockets of the unsuspecting. God is not in competition with them, no, not at all! The question to God has always been the END. What God will do at the end!
One more scripture and I will tell of the live occurrence in a Church in New York.
Prophet Jeremiah became the mouth of God at a time in Israel when prophets (Preachers) grew to become liars at every corner, and the people (the Church) felt they have wisdom in their midst. Israel (the Church) felt they have God in their midst more than ever then, but God said it was all a lie. Listen!
“”Even the stork in the heavens Knows her appointed times; And the turtledove, the swift, and the swallow Observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of the Lord. 8 “How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.” Jer.8: 7-8.
Four things God was saying here about the Church;
1) Israel (the Church) does not his time.
2) Israel (the Church) does not the judgment of the Lord (lack of discerning what God could say or not).
3) Israel (the Church) felt they were wiser than ever (when actually they are so gullible in error).
4) Israel (the Church) also felt they have the law (WORD) of the Lord when it is all deception of revelation.
The final thing, which is my emphasis, is the last phrase in verse 8 that says, “Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.”
Let the Church realize that the scribes (Preachers) are re-writing the scriptures of our God in their interpretations and applications all in the bid to be enriched. I am not talking about versions of the Bible, but the word ‘pen’ talks about how words in the Bible are now taken out of context and applied to suit a purpose other than the intent of God. Sometimes I shake my head when I hear some words preached on God’s pulpit by some of these Pastors. It is evil, wicked and an abomination to God!
Here is the story.
A prominent man of “God” came from Nigeria to New York to preach in a Church (July 1st, 2012), on arrival the first issue with him was the entourage he brought from Nigeria without informing the host Church. Second was his rejection of a five star hotel they put him, as he wants to go elsewhere that is more five star and expectedly far more expensive (same place Billionaires stay for heavy price). The third thing was his choice of food that must be made to detail for the period of his stay along his team. The retinue of assistances he needed to be okay is shamefully excessive and his demands are monarchial. The treatment is exclusively presidential in the African context of it. In a nutshell, so much money (God’s money) was wasted on his gaudy and avarice for taste of royalty. Now he preaches on Sunday with every ascent of pride and arrogance, and stylish threat to the congregation.
“Count yourself so blessed to have me in your midst. Many preachers all over the world will pay heavily to have me come onto their pulpit for just one minute because of the grace I carry. That I agreed to be here means God had just chosen you for this time to have me release my blessings upon you, so get ready”. The church went standing and clapping with words like “Papa” and disgusting ovation. All kinds of testimonies of how many have obeyed his instructions in the past and are now swimming in money came one after the other. How he had made many people millionaires and billionaires accented his rhetoric. “I was at the airport on my way here from … when a man came up to me telling me story of how he was so poor until he met me in a service and I asked everyone to get a seed offering for breakthrough. He said I told those who had nothing to give to go borrow that night and bring a good seed the following day. He did and now he is made for life because people paid his school fees and now he is a C.E.O of a Computer Company making good money”. All these are psychological maneuverings setting up seed offering again. Haba! How many settings like that did God do when giving Abraham an instruction to offer Issac?
“The president of Nigeria is my son, and I always told him I don’t envy him. When I speak, Nigeria and the US must listen to me. I speak on behalf of all Nigerian Christian community. The authority is in my mouth. I have come to release my blessings (definitely not God’s blessings) on you here today”. These guys don’t have any message to preach about the cross or the blood except to divert it to economic gain. No message that uplifts a man of the Spirit of God at all, it is all psychological calculations that endear them to the congregants to gain their trust. Hey! The false pen of the scribes certainly works falsehood.
Unfortunately most of the congregants were apprehended by his boastful stature and language of forceful authority that all were amused at his mess-age without any spiritual impact. While he was speaking (not preaching) his wife (Mama) got up and put money on the stage to approve her husband. That in itself was a grand set-up to have the Church respond same way. As you will expect, the host pastor went up and drop some money and then it became a struggle for who gets up stage first for the entire congregants. Some people went to others to borrow money so as not to be left out, now dollars all over the stage, not a dollar bill but in tens and twenties. As God said above, my people do not know the judgment of the Lord. Will Jesus do that or Paul or Peter?
Many people left regretting leaving money on the pulpit but they will still do it again because a lot of psychology was involved. It is manipulations that only the very strong can resist.
Finally,
“I want 100 people to stand with me here on the pulpit with $1000 as seed. I will only count 3 and that is all the time I will give you to join me here with your money. One … you can determine your destiny today and now. Two … struggling will end with your seed”.
It did not take long before the stage was filled with potential “Millionaires” that will be made by the guest ministers. Wow! God’s people ARE SO GULLIBLE! People ran to the stage expecting breakthrough, but the menace is that they have probably done this two or three times this year and severally in the past and things are still the same. When will God’s people be wise?
“Three. Now I am going to release my blessings upon you with your seed. Pastor (beckoning on the host minister), please come to my hotel room and collect one of my underwear top (singlet) and cut it into pieces for each one of these guys. Everyone must have a piece and put it anywhere they like. It contains my sweat in the last forty years of ministry, and the grace of God upon my life is in that piece of apparel. Do whatever you want with it, it is blessed”
That should be enough for now. Where in the word of God does that drama comes from? I will keep praying for Ayo Oritsejafor et al, because now I am convinced that they need our prayers. Why would the lust of this world consume such a man who ventured out early to serve God only to end in this craze for ….
