Subsidy Removal: Jonathan Government Has Been Hijacked by a Cabal – Cleric

Following the removal of fuel subsidy by the Nigerian government, an Ibadan-based Cleric, Apostle Perez Iyiola Oluyemi, has joined millions of Nigerians to condemn the recent removal of subsidy by the Jonathan Administration in Nigeria, saying that the President is acting the script of a cabal that has ostensibly hijacked his government and are out to destroy the economy of the country.

The man of God warned that the removal of the subsidy, if not properly handled by the president, may set an agenda for the breakup of the country, describing the action as cruel and devilish on the part of a President who promised to provide succor to the suffering of the people.

According to him, Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder that is about to detonate. There is a cabal of hypocrites who have aligned with this particular government to destroy the economy of this nation.

Apostle Oluyemi who wondered why a President who few hours to the removal was telling Nigerians that his administration was slow because he was meticulous and does not want to make hasty decisions that would boomerang at the end of the day, would thereafter announce the controversial subsidy removal.

He alleged that a cabal had hijacked the government and they are those who are behind the subsidy removal.

We are aware that there has been a cabal behind the oil importation for so long. These people have been profiteering from this for a very long time and they are those who are destroying the economy of this country.

The man of God added that the cabal had seen the weakness of Jonathan as a leader and they are using it to foist unpopular policies on the people.

A weak leader falls for anything. A weak leader goes ahead with unpopular policies that only receive the blessings of a cabal who would benefit from such policies.

Apostle Oluyemi who berated the government lackadaisical attitude towards the security situation in the country wondered why the President would at this juncture introduce policy that will further aggravate the volatile security situation in the country.
