Super Eagles to face Benin, South Africa For 2026 FIFA World Cup Ticket

Nigeria’s Super Eagles has been drawn to face tough challenges in their quest for a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The three-time African champions have been grouped with South Africa, Benin Republic, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Rwanda in Group C.

The preliminary draws, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, determined the teams’ opponents.

The Super Eagles, who missed out on the Qatar World Cup, will compete in a series of games over the next two years to secure their place in the prestigious tournament.

FIFA divided the 54 CAF nations into six pots and drew them into nine groups, each consisting of six teams. The teams will play in a home and away, round-robin format, with the group winners automatically qualifying for the FIFA World Cup.

The four best group runners-up will enter a play-off stage to determine CAF’s representative at the FIFA play-off tournament.
