By Dwelleth Morountodun The devastating activities of terrorism across the North-east, has adversely affected the transmission network of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), SHARPEDGENEWS, learnt. This has resulted in power cuts and therefore darkness and the absence of electricity to power office and house appliances. Mrs. Ndidi Mbah, the General Manager, Public Affairs, of the Company, said on Sunday that Maiduguri, the State Capital of Borno State and it’s environs have been badly hit with the cut off from the national grid. She said: “The 330kv transmission line between Maiduguri and Damaturu was badly affected, stressing that the Damboa-Maiduguri 132kv transmission line has also been disconnected from the grid because of the activities of the terrorists.”
