THE NIGERIA YOUTH SUMMIT SET TO HOLD AUGUST 10TH IN ABUJA

The Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development CEPASD in collaboration with Peace Ambassador Agency is set to host the 2nd edition of the Nigeria Youth Summit in commemoration of international youth day 2023 with the Theme: Advancing Youth Innovation in Entrepreneurship on 10th August 2023 at Nigeria National Merit House, Maiatama Abuja.

The organizing committee chairman, Mr. Igweshi Augustine stated that the goal of the 2nd edition of Nigeria Youth Summit is to explore the dreams and aspirations of Nigerian youth in advancing youth innovation in entrepreneurship and national cohesion.

Mr. Augustine told newsmen in Abuja that the Nigeria Youth Summit seeks to provide insight into the dreams and aspirations of Nigerian youths in entrepreneurship and innovation while addressing the challenges faced by the Nigeria youths also, the summit is an important milestone and transformational roadmap and serves as a catalyst for unleashing the untapped potential of Nigeria’s youth population. The summit will highlight the transformative power of youth-led innovation and showcases the opportunities and challenges faced by young entrepreneurs by embracing youth-led innovation and creating an enabling ecosystem, Nigeria can unlock its full economic and social potential while empowering the next generation of innovators and change-makers.

It is in that spirit and desire for a better Nigeria that we have decided to contribute to national development through a summit tagged: Nigerian youth summit, to bring together Nigerian youths, and stakeholders under one umbrella to advance the future and prosperity of Nigeria youth towards achieving the Nigeria of their dream. Therefore, their dreams, aspirations, and challenges are critical for positive change and the country’s development He stated.

WHY NIGERIA YOUTH SUMMIT?

With over 60% of Nigeria’s population being young people with diverse talents and potentials, this summit will bring together thought leaders, government agencies, entrepreneurs, practitioners both private and sectors players, and young Nigerians of diverse backgrounds with innovations, aspirations, and potential on a countrywide conversation to advance the development of Nigeria youth, their aspirations, and inclusion in leadership.
