…block roads leading to the campus
Students of the University of Jos, Plateau State, are currently protesting the hike in their school fees and other services rendered by the institution.
The students took to the street on Tuesday blocking the roads leading to their campus in protest.
The protesters who were seen with placards , called on the management of the school to immediately reverse the fee hike and other services rendered by the school.
The students were siad to have been mobilized by leaders of the Students Union Government of the institution.
The placards carried different inscriptions such as “If your children can afford the money, we can’t”, and “We don’t want to drop out of school”, among others.
