Why l dumped APC – Sen Nyako

One of the senators who left the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC Senator Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako representing Adamwa

central senatorial district has cited injustice, poor congresses and marginalisation as reasons why he dumped the APC, adding that the congresses were used to “flush out our people”.

According to the retired military officer, Adamawa state has 87 ethnic groups and two major religions, which have to be delicately managed, but instead we have witnessed “random killing” in the state.
Buttressing the issue of marginalisation, Nyako said in “Angwan Nyako” where his father, Admiral Murtala Nyako holds sway and Jimeta where Senator Nyako represents “we were not allowed to produce ward chairman”, even though APC was brought to Adamawa by his father, Admiral Murtala Nyako, former governor of the state.
Acvording to the young senator, former APC chairman, Chief John Oyegun met President Muhammad Buhari thrice to impress it on him to allow free and fair congress to no avail.
” APC failed to give us justice, APC failed to learn from  PDP mistakes. We considered many parties and African Democratic Congress, ADC is the most feasible”, Nyako said.
Senator Nyako said he was satisfied with the preparation so far made in ADC, his new party in respect of ward, local government and state congresses.
