Abuja, Nov. 19, 2025 (NAN) — The Marist Brothers’ Juniorate Old Boys Association (Xjays) has unveiled its first property in Abuja—a renovated three-bedroom bungalow on a 500-square-metre plot in Kurudu—marking a major step in its drive to build sustainable income streams.

The building, purchased and upgraded by the Association for rental purposes, represents the first tangible project delivered under the current leadership.

The International President of the Marist Brothers’ Juniorate Old Boys Association, Chief Ikenna Aghaji, alongside members of his Executive Committee (EXCO), accomplished this milestone less than three months after assuming office.

Members who contributed financially and otherwise were commended for their commitment to the successful delivery of the project.

Past Presidents of the Association—including Mr. Innoma Odo, Prince Obiora Ubaka, and Mr. Nnajiofor Eneh—graced the commissioning ceremony, reaffirming their continued support for the Association’s growth.

The Provincial of the Marist Brothers, Rev. Bro. Mark Omede, officially commissioned the project.

He attended the event with five other Reverend Brothers, including the current Director of the Marist Brothers Juniorate (MBJ), Rev. Bro. Philip Mate. It was a joyful occasion for the Xjays community, who expressed gratitude for the achievement.(NAN)
