Yeyedu Foundation holds dedication service, tasks mothers on mentoring

YEYEDU OUTREACH FOUNDATION, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), on Sunday held its dedication service at RCCG LATTER HOUSE GLORY ASSEMBLY in Abuja, to committ its activities to God and humanity for the development of the country.

Miss Juliet Gbefwi, President of the foundation in an interview with newsmen shortly after the dedication service, said the organisation is a Christian foundation aimed at reaching out to the vulnerable in the society.

She said the foundation was committed to improving the quality of life of the less-privileg, children and women, through initiatives that would enhance their access to good healthcare and quality education.

While calling for a better society in the country, she equally advised mothers on proper upbringing of their children to ensure a better and responsible nation.

According to her, the foundation envisions a society where no orphan and vulnerable child is deprived of education as well as women are empowered to achieve their potentials for the economic development of the country.

“We render services to make life better for children and the less privileged in the society, especially at the rural areas and far-to-reach communities.

“We have carried out different interventions in health, education, women empowerment and civic engagements in the country,” she said.

Gbefwi also reiterated the foundations commitment in ensuring that the less-privileged children, especially at the rural communities are carted for. However, she maintained that the foundation has carried out several interventions from medical care, donation of food items, counselling among others.
