Former student Leader, Timileyin Ayenuro, has criticized the President for not providing Nigeria with stable electricity. Ayenuro suggests that if the President is unable to deliver on this promise despite his power, he should step down from his position.
This was contained in a Press Statement released to the Press men in Akure, Ondo State. Comrade Ayenuro stated “If President Tinubu is sincere with Nigeria sincere development, he should directly supervise the Ministry of Power and focus on the permanent Solution to Nigeria’s Electricity”
He stated further that “With President Tinubu’s direct supervision, he should grant more funds for the success of stable Electricity in Nigeria and If with President Tinubu’s power, he is not successful to give Nigeria Stable Electricity at an expected time then he should honourably RESIGN”
Ayenuro has said that Stable Electricity is the bedrock for the success of other sectors most importantly Security, Education, Industries and many more.
Ayenuro has also stated that he will not yet make a final conclusion on President Tinubu’s ability to stabilize the country and provide expected development. However, he has acknowledged that there are some possible ways for the President to take action.
The Youth leader has asked President Tinubu to empower and support Made in Nigeria Products (Most especially Aba Production) to produce quality products instead of arresting them for illegal production. He advised that amnesty should be granted to Nigerian producers and support them for massive production.
Ayenuro has also asked that President Tinubu should be strict with the offenders sabotaging our economy.
He highlighted that the top Business Class sabotaging our economy by hiding under the influence of power should be dealt with severely and if possible immediately serve capital punishment according to the laws without any recourse to corrupt Judiciary Practice (unnecessary court Injursion).
Timileyin Ayenuro stated further that “The Corrupt Legislators who are hiding under oversight functions and other duties using it to sabotage Nigeria’s Progress and development should not be spared out of disciplinary action. Any Executive who is not productive after the expected productive period should resign. Any Executive who is being disturbed by corrupt civil servants should Speak up. Any Civil Servants who notice corrupt practices of the Executive should Speak up.”
