A new secretary to Akwa Ibom State government was announced this morning following the rancorous removal
of MR. Umana Okon Umana. Governor Godwill Akpabio named an Executive Director Of Zenith Bank, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel as his new SSG.
Although Governor Akpabio in a statement made available to Sharpedgenews.com expressed gratitude for the contributions of Umana to the uncommon transformation of Akwa ibom State, the manner of the erstwhile secretary’s exit after declaring interest in the upcoming Guber race in the state was very messy.
The SSG, Mr. Emmanuel, hails from Onna in Eket Senatorial District
