The President of the Senate on Tuesday led a valedictory plenary session in honour of the late Distinguished Senator Okechukwu “Okey” Ezea, as lawmakers across party lines gathered to celebrate his life, service, and contributions to Nigeria’s democracy.
The special session, held at the National Assembly, was marked by solemn tributes and emotional reflections, with senators describing the late lawmaker’s passing as “a death in the family” and a profound loss to the nation.
