Ned Nwoko (PDP-Delta) has condemned the killing of soldiers by yet-to-be-identified youths of Okuama community, Ughelli South LGA, in Delta. The Nigerian Army, on Saturday, said that some of its personnel who went on a peace mission in the warring Okuama community were killed by the youth. According to the statement by the Army acting director, Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Tukur Gusau, a commanding officer, two majors, one captain and 12 soldiers were killed. The police in Lagos state have confirmed the death of a motorist, one Seun Sahola, 33, while protesting against another motorist, who allegedly hit and damaged his car on Jakande-Lekki-Epe Expressway. The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on Tuesday granted leave to Cyril Ndifon, the suspended dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), to appeal the court’s decision dismissing his no-case submission in the charge against him.
