PCC set to Launche Investigation into MDA Tax Remittance in Abuja/Sokoto

The Public Complaints Commission (PCC) says it has concluded plans to launch a system-wide investigation into the remittance of taxes by Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Abuja and Sokoto State. The PCC, however expressed concern over the lack of transparency and accountability in the remittance of taxes by MDAs, which has led to the loss of Billions of Naira in Government revenue. Police in Abia have arrested three suspects who impersonated EFCC operatives to rob students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, (MOUAU) Umudike, at gunpoint.
