Breaking News: Bomb Scare In Walmart Supercentre, Gardner Kansas, Staff Evacuated

About fifty staff members of Walmart Supercentre, Gardner, Kansas in United States of America were today hurriedly evacuated following a bomb scare. A source told our correspondent that that the authorities of Walmart received calls from unknown people indicating that they have planted a bomb that could go off any moment in the store. This we gathered prompted the authorities to immediately order evacuation of members of staff. The Kennel sniffers were brought in by the Police who later discovered that the bomb threat was hoax.

Suspected Gunmen Shot Dead UI Professor

Gunmen suspected to be hired assassins have shot Opeyemi Ajewole, a Professor of Social and Environmental Forestry at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan in Oyo State. Ajewole was reportedly killed last night by yet-to-be-identified gunmen. It was gathered that he was killed while returning home. A member of the faculty, Oladoyin Adebowale, said he was shot dead by his assailants. While speaking to journalists on the sad incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, said, “The matter is under investigation and that updates would be provided."

Oil prices were on the rise on Monday following Saudi Arabia’s announcement that it would cut its oil output by one million barrels a day in July. The price of a barrel (159 litres) of North Sea Brent for delivery in August stood at $77.03 on Monday morning, 90 cents more than on Friday. The price of a barrel of U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for July delivery rose by 92 cents to $72.66. Prices had risen even more significantly at times overnight.
