Gunmen Attack Kabba Correctional Centre, Kill Soldier, Police

The Controller General of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Mr. Haliru Nababa, has said one soldier and a police officer were killed late from the attack by yet to be identified gunmen who stormed the centre on late Sunday evening. According to a statement signed by Mr. Sola Fasure, Media Adviser to the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, he said 15 Soldiers, 10 Police Officers and 10 armed guards of the NCoS on duty fought to repel the attack.
