Atiku To Receive Tinubu’s Chicago State University Academic Records In 2 Days, After Court Order

A United States court in Eastern Illinois has ordered the Chicago State University to release the academic records of President Bola Tinubu to his rival presidential candidate in the 25 February election, Atiku Abubakar. Jeffrey Gilbert, a US magistrate judge, gave the ruling on Tuesday, ordering the university to produce “all relevant and non-privileged documents” to Atiku within two days. On 2 August, Atiku filed an application requesting from the university the academic documents of Mr Tinubu. Tribunal sacks Kano governor, declares APC candidate winner

The Kano StateGovernorship Election Tribunal on Wednesday sacked Abba Kabiru Yusuf as Kano State governor and declared the APC candidate, governor. The panel led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay began proceedings remotely from the Miller Road venue of the tribunal. During the hearing, the court deemed Yusuf's election as Kano State governor invalid and declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Nasir Gawuna, as the rightful winner.
