A 39-year old man, Mr. Cletus Anegbode Inedegbor, has raised the alarm over threats to his life by political thugs suspected to be loyal to a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his Esan native home of Esan North-East Local Government area of Edo State. Inedegbor, a graduate of Business Education from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma Edo State, is a building materials trader and a politician. NAF: Airstrike Destroyed Boats Carrying Stolen Crude Oil

The Nigerian Air Force says the air component of Operation Delta Safe (OPDS) destroyed boats laden with stolen crude oil as part of efforts to thwart oil theft in the Niger Delta region. NAF spokesman Edward Gabkwet disclosed this in a statement on Monday. He said the air component had on Saturday bombarded three boats carrying stolen crude oil at about four nautical miles southeast of Bille, a riverine area located west of Bonny Island and south of Port Harcourt, in Rivers. The Department of State Services (DSS) has said it is not illegally detaining suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
