Ohaneze Ndigbo Urges Government To Release Nnamdi Kanu

The Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Damian Okeke-Ogene, has urged the federal government to heed the call to release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Mr Okeke-Ogene said that time is now apt for the federal government to heed calls from prominent Nigerians to release Kanu. 102 Nigerians Stranded In Libya Evacuated, Arrive In Lagos

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Lagos received 102 stranded Nigerians evacuated from Libya. The returnees were officially received on Wednesday by Mustapha Ahmed, director-general of NEMA, on behalf of the federal government. Journalist jailed 3 years for N10.2m fraud

A Wuse Zone II Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, on Wednesday, sentenced a journalist, Sanusi Inuwa, to three years in prison for N10.2 million fraud.
