Woman charged for Allegedly Stealing Boyfriends Money

26-year-old sales representative, Miracle Bisong, was accused on Thursday of stealing her boyfriend's television, foodstuffs, and money. She was brought before an Upper Customary Court in New Karu, Nasarawa State for charges of criminal breach of trust and theft. Ms. Bisong, who lives in One Man Village, Karu, Nasarawa State, pleaded not guilty to the charge. Sergeant Christian Michael, the prosecution counsel, said that the complainant, Mr. Anthony Omena, reported the matter to the New Nyanya police station on May 7 at about 4 pm. Man, 22, bags one year jail term for stealing 4 motorcycle

A 22-year old man, Denen Hangier, was, on Thursday, convicted and sentenced to one year imprisonment for stealing four motorcycles belonging to different commercial motorcyclists. Hangier, who lives in Shange-Tiev, Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue, had earlier been before a Makurdi Magistrates’ Court, charged with criminal conspiracy and theft. A Police Inspector has been reportedly shot dead while two other officers were injured by gunmen who rained bullets on them at a checkpoint in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State on Monday.
