Na’Allah condoles with Japan over crash

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Abuja, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, has sympathised with the people of Japan over a crash involving a Japanese military helicopter which crashed into the sea in Okinawa on Thursday, killing 10 persons. Igbo Chief To Spend 30 Days In Prison Over Threat To ‘Bring IPOB To Lagos’

The Chief Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba, area of Lagos has remanded Fredrick Nwajagu, the Eze of Ajao estate, for 30 days for threatening to bring the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to the state. The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) confirmed his arrest on April 1 after a video where he made the “inciting statement” surfaced online. The Federal Government says it has completed the Loko-oweto bridge and the 2nd Niger Bridge and both would be commissioned and handed over before the in-coming administration by May 29. British passport office workers have began a five-week strike in the increasingly bitter civil service dispute over jobs, pay, pensions and conditions.
