Group appeals to FG to convert proposed Fed. Poly Adikpo to Skill acquisition centre

The Kwande United People Organisation (KWUPO), a socio-cultural group, has appealed to the Federal Government to convert the proposed Federal Polytechnic Adikpo, in Kwande LGA of Benue State to a mega skill acquisition centre. Mr Samuel Agah, the leader of the Abuja Chapter of the group, made the appeal in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. Vandals destroy 6 transmission towers in Rivers -NDPHC

NEMA to distribute Saudi Arabia center’s food donation to 16,000 households in Borno State

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says it has concluded plans to distribute food items donated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Centre (KSRelief) to 16,000 households in Borno State. The households include Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living in eight camps and host communities of the state.
