RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Adeboye, Loses Son

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye has lost his son Pastor Dare Adeboye to death.The young dynamic Youth Pastor, Dare Adeboye popularly known as Pastor D was said to have died in his sleep on Wednesday night in Eket, Akwa Ibom State where he was based.According to sources, he ministered on Tuesday evening. Dikko Appointed Pioneer Coordinator of Small Arms Control Agency

Retired Major General A.M Dikko has been appointed as the pioneer coordinator of the National Agency for Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NACSALW).The establishment of the Centre which replaces the defunct Presidential Committee on Small Arms and Light Weapons was approved by President Buhari on Monday, according to a Presidency statement.The Centre will operate from the office of the National Security Adviser and is part of government’s rejig of the security architecture in order to tackle emerging threats and limit to the barest minimum, the flow of small arms and light weapons.Dikko has held various important military positions including Military Adviser UN office for West Africa as well as Commander Operation LAFIYA DOLE. EFCC Nabs Impostor for Cloning its E-mail

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have said it has arrested one Udochukwu Ugochukwu Simeon for allegedly creating fraudulent clones of the Commission e-mail address, and using same to defraud unsuspecting victims.  Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, Spokesperson for EFCC, said the 26-year-old suspect created an outlook email account of the Commission, “efccnigeria.org.ng@outlook.com” and a webmail, info@efcc-nigeria.org.ng  which he uses to impersonate the EFCC. He said investigation by the Cybercrimes Unit at the Commission’s headquarters, Abuja indicates that the suspect also uses the two fake e-mail accounts to send messages to his victims, while posing as an officer of the Commission trying to help his victims recover their stolen monies. FG Shifts NIN-SIM Verification Deadline to June 30 as Enrollment Hits 54million

The Federal Government has approved the extension of the deadline for National Identity Number (NIN)-Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) data verification to the 30th of June.   The extension was as a result of the virtual meeting chaired by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Ibrahim Pantami, and attended by the Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande, the Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NCC, Prof. Umar Garba Dambatta and the Director-General/CEO of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr.
