Police arrest  3 kidnap suspects, recover IEDs, others in Delta

The Police Command in Delta has arrested  three kidnap suspects, and recovered assorted weapons including five packs of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) as exhibits. The command`s pokesman, DSP Bright Edafe stated this while addressing newsmen on Monday in Warri. Edafe said that the suspects were arrested on Friday by police operatives attached to the Orerokpe Division in Okpe Local Government Area of the state. NBTE to strengthen entrepreneurship curriculum in polytechnics

Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) staff on Monday shut down their head office as they rejected the appointment of the new Postmaster General (PMG), Tola Odeyemi by President Bola Tinubu. Israeli army says has killed another ringleader of Hamas attacks

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say they have killed another man in Gaza suspected of masterminding the large-scale attacks carried out by Islamist Hamas. NUC says top-up degree programme by NBTE not recognised

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has disowned the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) top-up programme claiming to bridge the gap between polytechnic and university degrees. No ransom paid to secure release of NSUK students – Gov.
