NGO donates books, stationery to vulnerable pupils in FCT
The Oneworld Initiative For Sustainable Development, a non-governmental organisation, has donated books and stationery to vulnerable pupils at the L.E.A Primary School, Phase 1, Nyanya, in the Federal Capital Territory.
Mr Timothy Achanya, the president of the organisation, made the presentation to the pupils on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said the gesture was part of its commitment to reduce the rate of out-of-school children and encourage the children to get back to school.
According to him, the organisation has so far donated the books and stationery to no fewer than 32 pupils and it would do more to ensure that more vulnerable children are reached.
