New NSCDC Commandant assumes office in Gombe

A new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe, Gyama Gyawiya, has taken over from his predecessor, Muhammad Bello Mu'azu, who recently gained promotion to the rank of an Assistant Commandant General. The handing over which took place at the Gombe Command's headquarters, witnessed Mu'azu bidding farewell to the Command after spending a little over a year of meritorious service in Gombe. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has intercepted consignments of opioids concealed in shoes and hair attachments heading to the United States, United Kingdom and Cyprus.
