NAAT gives FG 21-day ultimatum over non- payments of 5- months withheld salaries

By Joan Nwagwu The National Association of Academic Technologists, (NAAT) has given the Federal Government a 21-day ultimatum over non- payments of five months withheld salaries. Mr Ibeji Nwokoma, President of NAAT said this in a letter addressed to the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mrs Nkeiruka Onyejeocha in Abuja. The letter was titled, "Notice of 21-day ultimatum to embark on an industrial action,''. Lebanon: 500 Nigerians so far registered with mission..As arrangements in place to send C130 plane for evacuation

From: Vincent Ikuomola, Abuja No fewer than 500 Nigerians have so far registered with the Nigeria mission in Lebanon. There are more than 2000 Nigerians in that country, according to the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A statement signed by the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Amb Eche Abu-Obe, however said not all of them indicated interest to come back home.
