Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the President Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA), Worldwide, has commended Sen. Godiya Akwashiki ( Nasarawa North) of initiating good policies and projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of Nasarawa North senatorial district and other Nigerians.
Abuluya, who is the Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga gave the commendation during the reception in honour of Sen. Godiya Akwashiki after his inauguration as Senator of the 10th National Assembly in Abuja today.
The Nacabs proprietor, said that he was proud to identify with Akwashiki due to his purposeful and quality representation at the National Assembly.
He assured him of support to succeed at all times.
” I am here to identify and celebrate with our own, Sen. Godiya Akwashiki on his successful inauguration as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for second term.
” I am proud to identify with our Distinguished Senator anytime and anywhere because he has performed well as our representative.
” On behalf of myself, family, ECDA leadership and the entire Eggon nation, I wish to congratulate you on your successful swearing in for another four years in office, ” he said.
Abuluya, who was overwhelmed with Akwashiki’s performance at the National Assembly, said that he was the first senator to break the long time jinx of nobody going to the red chamber twice in Nasarawa North senatorial district.
” People massively voted for you for second term because of your good work. You are the first senator to break the long time jinx of nobody going to the red chamber twice in Nasarawa North senatorial district.
” We are proud of your good work and I want to assure you of our support to succeed at all times,” he said.
He also appreciated Sen Akwashiki for donating two 18-seater buses to Eggon Community Secondary School and Eggon Kyenkyen Science Secondary School, Nassarawa Eggon among other gestures.
Abuluya, who is also the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Nasarawa State prayed and wished Akwashiki long life and prosperity, God’s wisdom, guidance and protection through his tenure.
He called on the people of the senatorial district to continue to pray and support Akwashiki to succeed.
” Our prayers is for you to succeed and to surpass your first term achievements so that the people of Nasarawa North will continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy, ” Abuluya said.
Responding, Sen. Godiya Kawashiki ( Nasarawa North) assured of continous purposeful and quality representation at the National Assembly .
He said that he would continue to bring development to the senatorial district in order to improve on the lives of the people of the district.
The senator appreciated the ECDA President, traditional rulers, politicians and other well wishers for rejoicing with him and prayed God to grant them safe journey to their various destinations.
