Newly sworn-in Federal Capital Territory FCT minister, Nyesom Wike on Monday had threatened to pull down houses that is distortimg the Abuja master plan.
In his first media briefing as minister, he pledged to restore the Abuja master plan.
“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down”, he said
“Those who taken the green areas to build, parks to do restaurant, sorry , we won’t accept that ” he added
Wike said land allottees who have been given Certificates of Occupancy but failed to develop would also lose their lands to give way to those ready to build.
” All of you who the FG has given C of O and has refused to develop the place, will lose it”
“All of you land speculators who bought land for N20,000 and waiting to sell at N2b, we are going to revoke them. The land is gone “
