KOGI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION CELEBRATED SILVER JUBILEE

The Alumni of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, celebrated 25th years of Association of Classes 1998.

The event which took place at the National Art Culture and Social development Area 10, Abuja, under the chairmanship of Prof. Armstrong Aduku Idachaba. The event was well graced by members of the Alumni, accompanied by their love ones to celebrate the loadable event.

Speaking with news men at the occasion, was the host. Chief Adejoh Monday Emmanuel.
Chief Emmanuel said, it has been his Joy And exiting moment meeting with class mates that he has not seen for couple of years, “I am exited that we have reunited after 25 years and we are here celebrating one another.

We have lost some good people amongst us, whenever I remember them, I feel so sad, .”But God knows best, we cannot question Him, We rather appreciate Him for Keeping Us alive till date,

” I advice all members of the Alumni, that we should endeavour to carry each other along, support the needy amongst us, as well as been conscious of our immediate communities in terms of development, doing the little we can in order to improve the living condition in our communities will go along way”

In conclusion, Chief Emmanuel dedicated the award to God Almighty

An Alumni, DR. Samuel Muhammad, said after 25 year Of graduation, He felt it was time to remember the Institution that made them, especially the 1998 set. He added that ” We Have a Project To Build an ICT Center and Skills Acquisition for the immediate communities”

The Chainman of the occasion, Prof. Armstrong Aduku Idachaba, posited that 25years Ago, the Instruction was Constituted and today, the Set of 1998 remembers Their institution and form themselves Into groups of Alumni Association, Prof Idachaba Advised the Association to Continue with what they have Started, as the sky according him , is just their beginning.

Not missing out at occasion, was Mrs Oyibo Joy, She acknowledged that she was part of the 1998 Set and meeting with her class mates after such a long time, was a joyful moment for her.

She received an Award on behalf of the former Minister for State FCT, Hon. Dr Ramatu Tijani Aliyu who was unavoidably out of the Country.
