Chief Wole Taiwo who narrated his ordeal with his wife to our correspondence on how his estranged wife Mrs Oluwafunke Taiwo attempted to kill him, destroyed properties and she is now threatening him to attack him through her man friend’s thugs.
According to Chief Taiwo he said his wife’s name is MRS OLUWAFUNKE TAIWO that they got married through traditional wedding and registry wedding at Ikeja local government that she has a child for him and she is an officer of LNSC Lagos State neighbourhood safety corps presently serving at Badagry division. She was formerly in Olopa bit in Ajuwon area of lagos State. He said she hurriedly seek transfer to Badagry division when she stabbed him with bottle and the police were looking for her.
Chief Wole lamented that the trouble started immediately after their traditional wedding. He said he recollected that they both went to a party and when he greeted one of his friend’s wife, oluwafunke thought otherwise and she broke the wind screen of his Toyota Camry and carried a big Stone to throw on his head, tore his clothes if not quick intervention of the security man and people around it would have been a great disaster.
Chief said since he has married her he has never beat her for once nor insult her.
He further said that there was a day just a little argument occurred in the house and she used a very big hard stone to break his head and he was rushed to a nearby hospital by their neighbours. The hospital name is Twins family hospital in Akeredolu road off Taiwo bus stop Olambe, where he was treated. But with intervention of families and friends he decided to forgive her after a lot persuasion from people including pastors and church members and she promised not to do so again
He lamented that he gave Oluwafunke all the necessary care that a good husband can give, paying all her bills without minding her salary.
Chief Wole also said that there was a day when Funke and her step children were having little misunderstanding despite my appeal to her, she wanted to burn the children with the house but with the intervention of neighbours and youths in the community they prevented her but she later deliberately broke 12 sliding windows in the children rooms in my house at Akeredolu road Olambe at that very night.
Chief Taiwo also said bitterly that as if that is not enough, that again sometimes in 2025 that he went out but on reaching the house she claimed that he came back late but he said as he was about to explain why he was late she broke a bottle and stabbed him on the elbow he said she was targeting his stomach but because he used elbow to guide his stomach that is why she eventually stabbed the elbow and he said he was rushed to the same Twins family hospital. Where he was treated and she did not even opened the house door for him to rest despite the blood lost. He lamented that he was forced to sleep outside till dawn before he called security officer around for assistance. He said on that day she also break the wind screen of his Lexus 300 jeep. The case was reported at Ajuwon police station but when she was invited she hurriedly seek transfer from Olopa bit to Aradagun in Badagry area of lagos state.
He further stated that she slapped him many times on the streets even at the bus stop and also assaulted him many times publicly.
He narrated further that Mrs Oluwafunke Taiwo is a perpetual fighter. She fought one of her colleagues in Olopa bit and injured her. She has also fought on the streets of olambe with many people and assaulted many people notable among them is her physical fight with one Iya Bolaji, she almost killed the woman.
He said that recently she has been threatening him that she will send her man friend’s thugs to come to his house to beat him up and cause mayhem for him. And also to collect his phone so that all her information therein can be destroyed.
Chief Oluwole Taiwo now call on the authority of LNSC that one of the cardinal points of LNSC is dispute resolution and help to resolve minor conflicts and misunderstanding within the community to maintain peace and others. He wandered why she is still an officer of LNSC. He said that Mrs Oluwafunke Taiwo is not fit or qualified to be an officer of LNSC.
Chief now employed the authority of LNSC to investigate these allocations so as to get the root of it and do the needful.
