SENATOR MOHAMMED ALI NDUME MAINTAINS NEUTRALITY IN GWOZA LOCAL GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP MATTERS

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has reiterated that he is not involved in the ongoing leadership arrangements among newly elected councillors in Gwoza Local Government Area.

According to a statement issued by his office, the Senator, a prominent political figure in Borno State and across Nigeria, has remained neutral in all decisions regarding the selection of local government leadership in his constituency, particularly in his hometown.

The statement emphasized that despite his influence, Senator Ndume has deliberately refrained from interfering in local political matters, allowing democratic processes and party structures to determine leadership outcomes at the grassroots.

Senator Ndume’s office also reaffirmed his continued loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the leadership of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, as well as the party’s leadership at the national and state levels.

The office clarified that the Senator is neither supporting nor opposing any individual candidate in the ongoing leadership arrangements, and that all decisions regarding local leadership remain strictly within the mandate of party members and residents
