Shortly after the emergence of Senator Godswill Akpabio as Senate President, Tajudeen Abbas, the lawmaker representing Zaria constituency, has been elected speaker of the house of representatives.
Abbas defeated Idris Wase and Sani Jaji by a landslide to win the election on Tuesday.
